Soren established Watershed Moment Communication in 2012 to bring design thinking to how governments, organizations and businesses adapt to change.
Soren says, ‘Through concern for urban watershed renewal and interest in the city planning process, I led the Visioning Shelbourne Valley transportation Forum for community engagement and education for walkable communities, multi-modal transportation and smart growth. My group work on the Shelbourne Valley Walkability Report was included in the Shelbourne Valley Action Plan.’

Soren serves on the Bowker Creek Initiative steering committee for urban watershed renewal. He is the chairman of the Friends of Bowker Creek Society and is the Jane’s Walk City Organizer for Victoria. He likes to read about architecture, new urbanism and what makes cities work. Some of his favourite authors on these subjects are Christopher Alexander, Jane Jacobs and Malcolm Millais.
